Effective since April 19, 2005 FEMA Flood Maps, (FIRM, stands for Flood Insurance Rate Maps), became the only official document for flood zones determination to be used by federal, state and municipal agencies. Puerto Rico Planning Board Flood Maps are no longer available. Puerto Rico Maps were updated on November 18, 2009. Hard Copy Maps are no longer published.
A series of major changes, including a complete site redesign, have taken effect on the MS.
